Hi, I’m Amanda.

I’m Amanda Balbuena, an IMH-C Certified Women’s Health Coach with specialized education in women’s hormone health through the Institute for Menstrual Health.

Like many, I grew up with very little meaningful menstrual education. What I learned was often incomplete, confusing, or framed as something to tolerate rather than understand.

It wasn’t until later in life—through my own hormonal experiences and deeper study—that I realized how powerful cycle awareness can be when it’s taught with respect and clarity.

That realization became It’s All Hormonal.

Why It’s All Hormonal Exists

Your cycle isn’t random, and your hormones aren’t simply working against you. The shifts happening throughout your cycle can offer valuable clues about what’s happening in your body.

When you begin to understand those patterns, you can start recognizing shifts in your energy, emotions, creativity, and needs—and make choices that better support the body you actually live in.

It’s All Hormonal exists to offer the menstrual education so many of us never received.

My approach brings together modern menstrual science, cyclical living, storytelling, and practical tools that can be applied to everyday life. The goal isn’t to prescribe one “right” way to experience your cycle, but to give you the knowledge and tools to better understand your own.

This is a space to learn, reconnect, and remember that understanding your body can be a source of knowledge—not confusion.
